About Sewa Diwali:
3rd Annual Sewa Diwali is a annual charitable initiative by Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh ( HSS) that transcends beyond the celebration of the Festival of Lights, manifesting the inherent values of Diwali – compassion, generosity, and enlightenment – into tangible acts of kindness. This event is curated to encourage the vibrant Hindu community in Halifax and Dartmouth to come together and partake in a noble cause of raising food for Feed Nova Scotia.

Objective:
To gather, donate, and distribute a target of 1600 pounds of non-perishable food items to Feed Nova Scotia, thereby ensuring that the festival of Diwali brings light not only into our homes but into the lives of those grappling with food insecurity.
