David has been dedicated to getting our data right for the last 15 years. As a teacher and a scientist, before he retired, David believed in the power of evidence to help make a difference. He brings that spirit to his volunteering. He has collected and analyzed the data that helps us tell the story of food insecurity in Nova Scotia with a passion that sees him rarely miss a day – he was even here when he got the phone call about his latest grandchild! His love of his community is contagious and he is as quick to have conversation about soccer, as he is about science. Oh, and he won’t like us telling you this but an apple fritter could make his morning. Thank you David!
